The Old Stone Church
This piano duet was originally written for my son Alexander Duncan and former piano student Kristin Rae and is around a Gr.9/10 level. They premiered it beautifully, but we all felt something was missing. Thanks to Alex Forgay and Emily Ninavaie for encouraging to complete it and for premiering the final version in Toronto. My mother grew up in East Texas surrounded by "old time religion" and music...her indomitable spirit and love of singing is honoured in the middle song section. Art work is by Kingston, On resident Spencer Hope.
Relax to this rich and harmonic gently flowing melody like leaves of a Willow tree moving gracefully in the gentle breeze. Grade 3 - 4
